Cream Pies

The next seven years are going to be big. Forget the five-and-ten-year plans your consultant told you to make. We will all be flying by the seat of our pants.

You astro-heads already know this. There’s been a lot of talk about the Grand Cross, the major configuration that will dominate the sky through 2015. 2012 looks to be the year when things come to a head. The Great and Powerful Oz

Remember in The Wizard of Oz, when Toto started tugging at the curtain behind which the old scamster was pulling levers; and the big scary face intoned, “Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain”?

The Great American Meltdown we’re watching now has much in common with that other great American tale. This time The Great and Powerful Wizard is Alan Greenspan.

Amazingly, it wasn’t that long ago that Greenspan’s every word and gesture were parsed by stockbrokers and investors worldwide for coded signals about that unfathomable Mystery of Mysteries: Free Market Capitalism.… click here to continue reading.

Weed Wars

I am looking forward to Neptune doing its number on the US Moon (Sibly chart). On many different fronts it should bring home (Moon) the issue of drugs (Neptune). But if sanity is to prevail people are going to have to confront how insane it’s been so far.

Take the foreign policy disaster some wonk decided to call “The War on Drugs.” A farce from its inception under Nixon, this campaign was never anything other than a dark Washington power trip masquerading as a moral crusade.… click here to continue reading.

The Wheel's Still in Spin


The headlines are disturbing, the mass mood is anxious, and the weather is downright weird. The Earth and her people are flipping out.

We need a plan.

We need an approach that will keep us grounded in sanity and able to respond in the highest possible way. We need a perspective that’s way bigger than what passes for perspective in most modern people’s thinking. We need a model along the lines of what the Mayans had.
