This lecture explores the theme of projection: the human tendency to cast the shadow outside of ourselves. Jessica compares the key transit of 9/11/01 that introduced the “war on terror” years to the transits happening now, and the globe-rattling events that are accompanying them. She describes how this moment in history is an invitation to become free of the Self-Other projection, transforming how we relate to others as individuals and as members of a group.
